We close our small series of concerts marking the anniversary of the Konzerthaus with a programme which outlines some of the situations and emotions of the first years after the re-opening of the hall, and therefore of the last years of the GDR: Reiner Bredemeyer's comments ("There are more than 150 works by Feldman and I have only heard four or five: that sums up my situation. Am I craving for them? - I wouldn't even say that") and Nicolaus Richter de Vroes' thoughts in Durchlässige Zonen IV are two possible perceptions of this time.

Historical note: Friedrich Goldmann's Ensemblekonzert 1 will be heard for the first time on the territory of the (former) GDR!
