Multimediales Livehörspiel von Lutz Glandien
World premiere
What would we feel if we knew that the last night of our lives had arrived - like the European resistance fighters in the 1930s and 1940s who were awaiting execution? The composer Lutz Glandien, known as a border crosser, has created his multimedia live audio piece "Die letzte Nacht - Der Traum vom Widerstand" (The Last Night - The Dream of Resistance) on this question with the help of German and French texts from the Resistance literature. The work for orchestra, soprano, narrator, virtuoso video sequences and electro-acoustic feed is a concertante further development of his dance theater "ResisTanz" (2021).
Johanna Kaldewei and Sabine Falkenberg interpret texts by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Albert Camus, Paul Eluard and Jan Skácel, among others, in song and radio play form. Their emotional content has been given an additional painful topical reference by the recent events in our world.
